The Genomic Open-source Breeding Informatics Initiative (GOBII – http://cbsugobii05.tc.cornell.edu/wordpress/) is working on enabling the implementation of genomic and marker assisted selection as part of routine breeding programs for staple crops in the developing world, through the development of open-source computational infrastructure and analysis capabilities.
